The Lizette-Gervais Prize was created in memory of a dedicated journalist who was guided throughout her life by values of mutual aid and solidarity.
It is aimed at graduates of a college or university program in journalism or communication.
It consists of three categories: radio, television, and internet/multimedia.
The winners in each category receive a $1500 scholarship and a paid four-week internship during the summer in Montreal, at one of the three major media partners of the Prize:
- At Radio-Canada radio (radio category);
- At TVA Nouvelles (television category);
- At La Presse newspaper (internet/multimedia category).
