Dr. Michael Hartman

Dr. Michael Hartman is a highly accomplished and recognized medical professional in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He obtained his MD degree from McMaster University and went on to complete his residency at Memorial University of Newfoundland, where he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He further specialized in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility through a fellowship at McGill University, which was known as the busiest IVF clinic and largest university-based reproductive clinic in Canada at that time. Throughout his training, Dr. Hartman has received numerous accolades and awards, including the Governor General’s Academic Medal, the Canadian Society for Clinical Investigation/Canadian Institute for Health Research Resident Research Award, and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s Resident Research Award at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He was also recognized with the CFAS Resident Award in 2011. During his fellowship, he was appointed as the Chief Fellow at the McGill University Reproductive Centre and was honored with the Excellence in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Award. Additionally, he has been acknowledged for his work with the Reena Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, and received the Good Samaritan Award. Dr. Hartman has contributed significantly to the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology through his research and publications in peer-reviewed journals. He has also presented his research at prestigious annual meetings such as the CFAS, ASRM, ESHRE, and AIUM. His research interests include ultrasound, saline infusion sonohysterography, congenital uterine anomalies, endometrial polyps, and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Currently, Dr. Hartman practices at both the downtown Toronto and Thornhill Trio Fertility locations, where he continues to provide expert care and contribute to advancements in the field of reproductive medicine.
