Café Alternatif

Café Alternatif is a café committed to minimizing its environmental impact through composting and recycling. We prioritize locally sourced products from small suppliers and offer fair trade and organic coffee and espresso. Our space fosters a strong student community, providing a unique environment for students to eat, study, and socialize. Our menu includes a variety of sandwiches such as mashed chickpea with avocado, tomato, and arugula, curried chicken with pineapple and arugula, and smoked salmon with red onion, capers, and dill-infused cream cheese. We also offer a selection of organic and/or gluten-free salads. In addition, we provide a range of baked goods and desserts, including organic and vegan-friendly cookies, coffee cake, and carrot cake. Our hot beverage options include freshly brewed organic and fair trade coffee, a variety of organic and fair trade teas, and specialty espresso drinks, chai lattes, and hot chocolate.
