BLD Restaurant initially opened as a takeout/express cafe offering gourmet sandwiches, salads, soups, and desserts. They also served Italian roast coffees and whole leaf teas. After three months, they expanded their services and opened a dining room with a globally inspired menu made from the freshest and best ingredients sourced locally and abroad. The business is growing steadily, with 75% of their customers being regulars. They offer daily fish/seafood features, grain-fed Wellington County Canadian beef, Canadian and imported charcuterie/cheese boards, lobster ravioli, and $5 bar snacks. They also have globally inspired menu items with a modern twist, with appetizers priced at $10 - $14 and entrees ranging from $17 - $32. BLD Restaurant is open for breakfast on weekdays from 8am-10:30am, lunch from 11am-2:30pm, and dinner from Wednesday to Saturday from 6pm-10pm.
