Bastone & Co is a Toronto-based custom furniture business founded in June 2017 by Trish Bastone. Trish, a talented furniture maker, sought to open a store to showcase her handmade furniture but lacked the financial means to afford a location in the desirable Queen West neighborhood. To overcome this obstacle, Trish posted a request on Bunz Trading Zone, inviting other local artisans to join her and split the cost of rent. The response from the community was overwhelming, with over 100 messages received within an hour. As a result, Bastone & Co was established as Toronto's Handmade Collective, offering a wide range of hyper-local gifts, fashion, home decor, jewelry, and more.
